The 3 of Swords might be one of the most mis-perceived cards in the Rider-Waite deck because it's easy to reduce it to the "heartbreak" card, the "grief" card, or simply about betrayal and loss. However, this card has so much more to offer! What if it were about letting go, gaining new perspective, or healing from the thoughts that are tearing your mind up? Remember that the 3 of swords is nestled right in between some kind of hard choice from the 2 of swords and the happy pause button of the 4 of swords. Sometimes, choices are hard or have hard consequences, but there is always a happy moment around the corner.

I love this card despite its general bad rap. Hopefully receiving this box will treat you to some of the beautiful 3 of swords energy for this month!
